Ioanna Kyritsi is a Psychotherapist, Addiction Counselor, and Couples Therapist.

She holds a degree in Biology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a postgraduate title M. Med. Sc. in Social Psychiatry and Child Psychiatry from the Medical School of Ioannina.

She was trained at the Athens Centre for the Study of Man in the Systemic Approach and at the Greek EFT Network in Emotionally Focused Therapy. She has received specialized training in Psychodrama and Group Psychotherapy (L. Yablonsky), Social Policy Design (Boston College), Group and Organizational Dynamics, and Organizational Supervision (Tavistock Consultancy Services).

She holds the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) from the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP) and is a Certified Addiction Counselor from the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC).

She is a member of the Hellenic Association of Systemic Therapy (ΕΛ.Ε.ΣΥ.Θ.) and the Hellenic Forensic Psychiatric Association (ΕΛΨΕ).

For three decades, she worked at the Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) in positions of responsibility in therapy, prevention, and education, working with individuals, groups, and families. She led the creation of KETHEA’s Prevention Sector, which she directed for twenty years.

Since 2015, she has been working privately in her own practice, “CONNECTIONS, Education, Counseling, Psychotherapy,” providing therapy to individuals and couples, as well as training and supervision to professionals.

She also participates in the coordination team of the Greek EFT Network.
