She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Crete and a Postgraduate Diploma of Specialization in Clinical Psychology from the same Department.

In terms of further training, she has been trained in Systemic Psychotherapy through a four-year training program, in Trauma Therapy using the EMDR method (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), as well as in specialized educational seminars and workshops in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for adults and children. She has also attended additional training and continuing education programs on mental health issues for children and adults.

On a professional level, she has been working as a Psychologist at the Mental Health Centre of Agios Nikolaos since 2008. From 2000 to 2008, she served as a Psychologist and Director at a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Hostel. She has also collaborated as a scientific associate with the Lasithi Branch for People with Disabilities (formerly the Lasithi Chronic Conditions Treatment Centre), the Lasithi Child Protection Branch (formerly the Children’s Home), and has served as a coordinator of Parent Schools.

She is a certified adult educator and, since August 28, 2025, she has been a member of the Scientific Council of Mental Health (E.Sy.Ps.Y.) of the 7th Health Region of Crete.
