Dimitris holds an M.Sc. in Person-Centred Counselling (Distinction) from the University of Strathclyde and the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP) awarded by the European Association for Psychotherapy.

He is a certified Parent Effectiveness Training (PET) instructor (Gordon Hellas) and has completed training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), while undertaking advanced (Core Skills) training toward certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples.

His additional professional development includes Medical Psychology, Couple and Family Therapy, Trauma and Grief/Loss Management, Art Therapy, Child Psychology and Psychiatry, and Certified Training in Counselling, Life Coaching and Mentoring.

He teaches in postgraduate (M.Sc.) and undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs in Person-Centred Psychotherapy at the University of Central Lancashire (ICPS College) and works as a clinical supervisor, providing individual and group supervision both within academic programs and privately. In parallel, he maintains a private practice working with adolescents and adults and facilitates personal development groups.

He is a member of the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
