Anastasia Vlachogeorgaki was born and raised in Athens.

She is a Sociologist, a Group and Family Psychotherapist, and a certified EFT therapist and supervisor (ICEEFT).

She studied Sociology at Panteion University and Business Administration at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki.

She worked for nearly 30 years at the Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA), holding leadership roles in treatment programs for people with addictions and their families. She is currently in private practice in Chalandri, working with individuals, couples, and groups.

She trained at the Athenian Institute of Anthropos (AIA) in the Systemic Approach, Group Process, and Family Therapy. At the Centre for Systemic Therapy, she was introduced to Couples Therapy.

She is a member of the European Family Therapy Association (EFTA) and the Hellenic Society for Systemic Therapy (ELESYTH).

She is a Certified Addiction Counsellor from the International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC & RC), having completed postgraduate training in Addiction through a KETHEA program in collaboration with the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego. She also completed postgraduate training at the National School of Public Health in partnership with Boston College on “Management and Social Planning in the Field of Addiction.”

She is a founding member of the Hellenic Network for Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for individuals, couples, and families.

She was trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and is one of the foundation members of the Greek Network in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT-Greece).
